Abstract

The study aimed to identify social networking sites and their relationship to spreading antisocial behaviors from the point of view of Jordanian youth. To achieve the objectives of the study, it followed the descriptive and analytical approach, relying on a questionnaire applied to a random sample of (960) participants during the year 2024.The study reached results, the most important of which were: that the most common type of antisocial behavior on social media platforms is cursing, at a rate of (16.98%), and that the factors that most drive the spread of antisocial behaviors are economic factors, at a rate of (26.25%), and that the most widely used means of social networking sites is Facebook, at a rate of (32.71%), and the presence of an impact of social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat) in... Promoting antisocial behaviour.

The study recommends educating young people about the dangers of spreading antisocial behaviors through social networking sites, and training them to discover the culture of other peoples, so that they can deal and interact with this world whose culture has become one global culture, in order to reduce the high rates of spreading antisocial behaviors through social networking sites from the point of view of Jordanian youth.
