Abstract
The study aimed to explore the degree to which female students of the first field at Al Sharqiya University in the Sultanate of Oman use educational platforms and their attitudes towards them. The descriptive approach was used on a sample of third year students at Al Sharkia University in the specialization of the first field, consisting of (61) students. The two study tools were a questionnaire and an attitude scale. The study concluded that the responses of the study members to the questionnaire items came to a large extent in seven paragraphs, and they used educational platforms to attend lectures, to submit presentations and requirements related to courses, to perform course assignments, to perform electronic tests, to communicate with the course teacher, to obtain test scores, and to develop my computer skills.
The results showed that the general average of the responses of the study members to the degree of using educational platforms reached (3.57), and this average falls within the fourth category of the five-scale categories, which refers to the “I agree” option on the study tool, and this means that the students’ attitudes are positive towards educational platforms. It recommended spreading awareness of the positives of learning through educational platforms and motivating students to continue in it. And the need to listen to students and know their needs, desires and trends in ways and methods of learning that fit the era of digital transformation.
