The importance of teaching music to pre-school children

Abstract

This research aims to find out the importance of music for children in the pre-school stage in order to demonstrate the necessity of developing programs for developing music programs for children in the pre-school stage, as music is considered one of the important subjects in achieving the sound and integrated development of the child and has a major impact on the formation of the personality of children in this stage. Stage: Music is an incentive for learning and remembering, but it can contribute significantly to developing the child’s understanding, memorization, and comprehension abilities. Music increases the child’s mental abilities if he is musically gifted.

The researcher noticed a lack of interest in music and teaching it to pre-school children, which prompted the researcher to conduct this study to identify the importance of music for pre-school children.

It was revealed through this study that there is a flaw in the concept of school music and the lack of teaching music curricula due to the small number of music teachers and educational supervisors. At the end of the study, the researcher concluded a set of conclusions and recommendations.
